We are writing this email from the USA.
We are looking for an ISP in your country to co-locate our Internet server.
The purpose of the server is to provide our "Email-to-Fax" or "Fax-to-Fax"
services. The server will dail out from telephone lines. This means the
server will not consume the bandwidth like an WWW server will. The server
will not be used as a WWW server.
Please note we are *NOT* doing the business of an ISP like you, so there
is no conflict with the business you are doing. In fact, we could even
work together. You could offer our "Email-to-Fax" and "Fax-to-Fax" fax
services to your customers and generate considerable extra income. Please
refer to our website "¬http://www.xxx.com".
We want to put our server in your location so that our server can connect
to Internet through you. In addition to the Internet connection, we will
need a few telephone lines. We will supply the computer. If not for power
outage problem or system crash, we can always telnet to the system and do
our maintenance remotely. So you don't have to maintain our server.
(Meaning, the colocation charge is expected to be reasonably low).
All we need from you are the Internet connection and telephone lines. Of
course, we'll pay for the telephone line installation and usage charges
directly to your national tel company. However, we do need your assistance
in getting the phone line services into your premises. In other words, we
need you to apply for the telephone lines on our behalf. We also need to
know how long it takes to get the connection. Initially we need 2 to 3
phone lines.
Please give us the telephone line installation and monthly charges. If the
figures you supply are in your national currency, please give me the
exchange rate to US dollars.
Most importantly, we need the charge for co-location of server. We need
the connection immediately.
Please note that our server has to be on Internet 24 hours of a day, and
every day all the year round.
