"Jugendliche ohne Grenzen" [JoG] AktivistInnen berichten über ihre Kampagne

Mehr als hundert MigrantInnen im Alter von 15 bis 30 Jahren sind in dem Zusammenschluss "Jugendliche ohne Grenzen" [JoG] bundesweit organisiert. JoG war seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2005 u. a. maßgeblich an den Protesten und Aktionen der Kampagne "Hier geblieben!" beteiligt, die schließlich zu einer "Bleiberechtsregelung" durch die Innenminister führte. Wer die gesetzlichen Vorgaben bis Ende 2009 nicht erreicht, ist akut von Abschiebung oder "Illegalität" bedroht. Völlig ausgeschlossen bleiben die MigrantInnen, die ohne Papiere sind. Deshalb muss der Kampf um "das ganze Bleiberecht für Alle!" weitergehen.

Drei AktivistInnen von "Jugendliche ohne Grenzen" werden über ihre Erfahrungen vom Leben in Lagern und dem Aufwachsen in Ungewissheit, aber auch von ihren politischen Kampagnen, Aktionen, ihrer gegenseitigen Hilfe und ihren Perspektiven berichten. Vorher gibt es ein kurzes Intro zu den Fakten der gesetzlichen Bleiberechtsregelung.

Die JoG schreibt in ihrer Selbstdarstellung:

Wir fordern ein Bleiberecht für alle Menschen.
Menschen sollen da leben wo sie gerne leben wollen.
Wir wollen einen Alltag ohne Angst vor Abschiebung.
Wir wollen wie alle anderen Arbeit und Ausbildung machen dürfen.
Wir wollen das kein Mensch in Lagern leben muss.
Wir wollen miteinander und in gegenseitigem Respekt leben.
Kein Mensch ist illegal, deshalb fordern wir Papiere für alle und zwar sofort!!!

Three "Youth without Borders" [JoG] activists talk about their campaign

About hundred migrants from all over the country, aged between 15 and 30, are organised in the "Youth without Borders" (Jugendliche ohne Grenzen [JoG]) network. Since its foundation in 2005, JoG was, among other things, prominently involved in the protests and actions of the "Stay here!" ("Hier geblieben!") campaign, which led to the adoption of right-to-stay regulations by the interior ministers of the German federal states. But high legal requirements, which must be complied with by the end of this year, will lead to many people facing their deportation or being driven into "illegality". Furthermore, already undocumented migrants are completely excluded. Therefore the fight for "the full right to stay for all!" must go on.

Three JoG activists will talk about their experiences with living in camps and growing up in uncertainty, as well as about their political campaigns, actions, mutual support, and future initiatives. A short introduction to the facts of the right-to-stay regulations will be provided at the beginning.

A self-presentation of JoG says:

We demand a right to stay for all people.
People should be able to live where they want to live.
We want to be able to go about our daily lives without fear of deportation.
We want to be allowed to work or do training like everybody else.
We don't want anyone to be forced to live in a camp (Lager).
We want to live together, in mutual respect.
No one is illegal, which is why we demand papers for all and at once!!!
